When I thought of what would be a dumb, cheesy image to use for a "friends only" banner, this is what I had in mind. Oh yes. I get to be Phoebe though.

Uhh, so yeah, my entries have been pretty much "friends only" for a while, in case you're wondering why I don't seem to post much. You know what to do.

Say huh?

According to the results of my recent sleep study, I stop breathing roughly 20 times an hour. An hour! Over the night of about 7 hours of sleep, it happened something like 146 times. That's a bit creepy to me... Also, my heart rate drops down to around 30 bpm. Now, that might not be that unusual for someone like an Olympic track star, but I am no Olympic track star, my friends. So yes, I have a moderate case of sleep apnea and I'll be going in on the 27th (or sooner, hopefully, if someone cancels) to get my cpap machine. With the stylish mask, I can pretend I'm an Air Force pilot every night in bed! "Requesting permission for a flyby." "That's a negative ghostrider, the pattern is full." Woo...

Wet me

Random update

Alright, I suppose it's time for an update. Usually there's nothing really noteworthy going on in my life to post, but I figure this'll do. It's really not that exciting or interesting unless you're me, but this journal is for ME anyway! :D

Let's do itCollapse )

Two cool (to me) links

Japanese game
This link lets you download this Japanese game. You'll need to be able to extract a .lzh file, which you can do with ExtractNow (freeware). Follow the directions in the English patch zip and you're good to go. This game is kind of a mix between Metroid and Mega Man, with other platformer elements tossed in too. It's got good music and an interesting story line (so far). Oh, but if you don't have a game pad for your PC, it might be a little tricky at times.

Dragon thingy
I love optical illusions. This link has a page you can print out and make a trippy dragon that does that trick where it looks like it follows you as you walk around it. There's a video that shows what it looks like if you make one, or what it would look like if you don't/can't. I've heard that if you put it in a glass vase (or, I'm sure, a regular glass), the slight distortion provided by the glass makes it a bit more effective. Try it for yourself! I've almost got mine done, but not yet.

Worst. Parent. Ever.

Yeah, I'm not ready for kids. I accidentally left the cat in the closet where the trash can is all day. Locked in. We get home and she's MEOWING like no other. She was fine when she got out but boy did she get a ton of treats...

Bright Eyes

Okay, so to everyone in Columbus - Do you know/like Bright Eyes? If so, let me know! I'd like to go see them but Brien doesn't much care for them, and I don't want to force him to go if he doesn't want to. It's going to be $20.00, at 8:00 on Wed., Jan. 19th of 2005 in the Mershon Auditorium at the Wexner Center (check Ticketmaster).

So, yeah, if there's anyone interested, let me know and maybe we can work something out. :D

Which is better - a metal pie tin or a glass pie tin?

Snoring, take 2...

Let's see if I can do this again the RIGHT way...

Does anybody have any suggestions for lessening the noise of snoring? I've tried BOTH the Breath Right nose strips with the Breath Right throat spray stuff, and still I'm a freakin' lumberjack sawing those logs away all night. It would be nice if it would STOP!

Thank you! :P
